Main Responsibilities


  • Supply of medicines, surgical kits, medical appliances and measuring instruments to citizens
  • Responsible for the storage, sale and supply of controlled drugs to comply with Hong Kong laws
  • Advice on medications and usage for common or minor diseases
  • Instruct patients to take prescribed medications, explain their interactions and side effects, and general health knowledge



Appointment Requirement


  • Be registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong established under the Pharmacy and Poisons Ordinance, Chapter 138
  • Hold a valid practising certificate issued by the Hong Kong Pharmacy and Poisons Board
  • Compassionate, patient and committed to helping patients
  • Good in interpersonal communication skills
  • With professional knowledge, skills, training and alertness to pharmacy, hospital-related legislation, ordering concepts, budget management and computer concepts
  • With good planning, organization and management skills
  • Ability to solve problems independently and build teamwork
  • With supervising and trainning skill
  • Priority will be given to who have received a training of Chinese medicine or qualify in  Chinese medicine*
